About Darius Webb

I write about health habits for adults with jobs, families, and limited patience for wellness theater. I am not a doctor, a dietitian, or a trainer, and this site does not pretend otherwise. What I bring is the thing most health advice lacks: I actually run the experiments. I have rebuilt a sleep routine from a bad one. I have started strength habits from zero, in a busy week, with no equipment. Everything here is written from that side of the page — practice first, then the evidence, then the caveats.

How this site works

Three rules govern everything published here.

The floor, not the ceiling. Every recommendation comes with a minimum version that still counts on your worst day. Sustainable beats impressive. A habit you keep for a year beats a program you abandon in February.

Claims carry sources. Where an article makes a physiological claim, it links the source. Where the evidence is thin or mixed, the article says so instead of rounding up to certainty. Where something is just my experience, it is labeled as my experience.

Honest limits. Nothing here is medical advice, and nothing here diagnoses or treats. When a topic crosses into territory that belongs to a professional, the piece says to talk to your doctor — because that is the correct answer, not a legal shield.

What is here

Articles on five pillars: sleep, movement, food, stress and recovery, and preventive care. Books are on the way. A weekly newsletter is planned; there is deliberately no signup form until there is a real list behind it.

Got a topic to request?

There's no newsletter list yet, but there's a direct line: tell me what you want covered and, if it turns into a piece, it'll carry sources like everything else here.

What you will not find

No transformation photos, no supplement stacks, no follower counts, no miracle claims, and no countdown timers. If a piece of advice only works for someone with unlimited time and a home gym, it does not run here.
